  1. How much does it cost to lap swim?

    $4

  2. How do I cancel or transfer a lane?

    Reservations can be rescheduled once up to 48 hours in advance. No refunds once booked. If you can't make your reservation, please call our office so we can accommodate walk-ins (805) 241-0894

  3. Can I reserve a lane for a private lesson?

    No. Lane reservations for private lessons or coaching is prohibited.

  4. Can I add someone to my lane reservation?

    Yes. The additional guest will pay $4.00 at the time of check-in.

  5. Do you have Recreational Swim or Open Swim?

    Yes, visit www.crpd.org/aquatics for more information.

  6. Do you have a Veteran discount?

    No.

  7. Do you have a Senior discount?

    Yes, if the reservation is made online. Senior discounts are not applicable for walk-ins.

  8. Can CLU Students and Faculty use the Community Pool for free?

    No. CLU Students and Faculty have access to the Samuelson Aquatic Center.

  9. How far in advance can I reserve a lane?

    Reservation system opens at 8:00am everyday. You can book up to 7 days out

  10. What is the Samuelson Aquatic Center

    It is the University pool directly adjacent to the Community Pool at CLU.

  11. How long is my reservation for?

    1 hour.

  12. Am I able to shower at the facility?

    Outdoor showers are available.

  13. Can non-residents access the pool?

    Yes.

  14. Can I walk in and get a lane without a reservation?

    Yes. However, lane availability is not guaranteed.

  15. If I am late, do I still have a lane?

    Your lane is reserved for 1 hour. You'll get a courtesy call before we give it to a walk-in

  16. Do any of the facilities have locker rooms or lockers?

    No locker rooms, but lockers are available. You must provide your own lock.

  17. Am I able to make a reservation over the phone?

    No. You much reserve yourself a lane online or walk-in at the top of every hour.

  18. How long is the pool?

    All facilities are 25 yards. The Samuelson Aquatic Center will switch to 50 meters in summer.

  19. Are the Diving Boards at any of the pools?

    Diving boards are available at Thousand Oaks High School Pool during the summer months.

Samuelson Aquatic Center (Big Pool)

Pool Depth: 13 feet (3.96m) to 7 feet (2.13m)

Big pool with 20 lanes 25 yards long or 8 lanes 50 meters long
