Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)


1. How much does it cost to lap swim? $4.00

2. Can I add someone to my lane reservation? An additional lane mate would be $4.00 cash at the facility entrance. 

3. Do you have Recreational Swim or Open Swim? Yes, view the Lap & Rec Swim tab for hours.

4. Do you have a CLU Student, Faculty, or Veteran Discount? No.

5. Do you have a Senior Discount? Yes, however, you must make a reservation online to receive the discounted rate. 

6. How far in advance can I reserve a lane? 7 days out. Reservations start at 8:00am every morning.

7. What is the Samuelson Aquatic Center? It is the University pool next door to the Community Pool. The only access to that pool is through the Community Pool. Refer to the map in the "Pool Lane Information" section.

8.  How long is my reservation for? Your reservation is for 1 hour. You must be out of your lane by the end of your reservation.

9. Am I able to shower at the facility? Outdoor showers are available. 

10. If I am not a resident of the Conejo Valley can I still reserve a lane? Yes.

11. Can I walk in and get a lane? Yes, all walk-ins pay $4.00 in cash if a lane is available. No senior discounts are given for walk-ins.

12. If I am late, do I still have a lane? Yes, your lane is reserved for the hour.  We will give you a courtesy call before giving your lane to a walk-in.

13. How do I cancel or transfer a lane? No refunds are given once a lane is reserved. if you are planning on not swimming that day, please give our facility a call so we can call the Waitlist. You are allowed a one time "reschedule" of a lane 48 hours prior to that reservation.

14. Do any of the facilities have locker rooms? No.

15. Am I able to make a reservation over the phone? No. You must reserve yourself a lane online or walk-in at the top of every hour.

16. How long is the pool? All facilities are 25-yards with the exception long course at the SAC which is 50-meters.

17. Are there Diving Boards at any of the pools? Diving boards are not available for public use.
