Participants in this course are ready for the Swim Team and will focus on stroke refinement and endurance training. Swimmers should be able to comfortably swim 50 yards of each of the four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly).

PLEASE NOTE: Diving may not always be available at the CLU pool.

Participants must meet the following skill prerequisites to enroll:

• Swim freestyle with rotary breathing for 50 yards.
• Swim backstroke for 50 yards.
• Swim breaststroke for 50 yards.
• Perform the butterfly kick for 50 yards.
• Tread water for 1 minute.
• Demonstrate a standing dive into deep water (if facility permits).
• Demonstrate a tuck and pike surface dive (if facility permits).

This class requires at least two participants to run at the current fee. If only one participant is enrolled, the class will be converted into a one-on-one lesson with an additional fee.
