Participants in this course are ready for the Swim Team and need stroke refinement and endurance training. Should be able to comfortably swim 50- yards each of all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly).

PLEASE NOTE: Diving is not always available at the CLU pool.

Participants must be proficient in the following skills to take this class:

-Swim freestyle with rotary breathing for 50 yards

- Swim backstroke for 50 yards

-Swim breaststroke for 50 yards

-Butterfly kick for 50 yards

- Tread water for 1 minute

-Demonstrate a standing dive into deep water (if facility permits)

- Demonstrate a tuck and a pike surface dive (if facility permits)
